Below is a list of competencies that our school hopes to foster in our students, formally referred to as
“Usui 7.” They are the ability for students to

⑦function as a member of society

We make it our priority to create lessons and conduct classes that teach the above educational ideals.

Here at Usui, we have created a dedicated class-time for our students to take part in “PBL” or “Project- Based Learning.”
They work alongside professionals in the local community to research issues affecting the greater Fukui community as a whole as well as postulate a means of solving these problems.
